I’ve always liked the intimate detail, the delicate, revealing close-up. Such concepts animated into multiple frames (so that the viewer gets a cubist glance and yet is forced to concentrate in milliseconds on specific ever shifting areas) has always had an attractive, magical component for me. And here’s an grand example.
Alex, you’ve cast a dazzling spell. And deservedly looped!
Amazing quality work you’re all uploading. Keep them coming!
i certainly agree with robert !
a very fine piece of work, very well looped ( the picve itself is looped, but it has a genuine “lenght” by itself, before looping; thus something quite interesting seems to happen: one starts to question if it actually really is a complete loop or if there could be “anomalies” in the stop-motion frames. this resukts in a carefull second or third) glance at all the images.
and then there is the whole aspect of generic and particular beeing adressed.
a fine mirror in many ways.

Great concept for a self-portrait. I like the different rhythms of the loops and the overall layout.
